have guessed,that actually almost everyone
really CAN cook! blasah2 pon, it turned out right! ha!

"bangalore-ians and bapuji-ans: from left: farid,anas,mar,mas,me&apek"

"bangalore-ians"

"the tent is called 'igar' where underneath it the muslims perform their solat aidilfitri together"
in front: an "active" railway track that never fails to wake up every single soul in Fien's apartment on every 30 minutes...

"SELAMAT HARI RAYA AIDIL FITRI MAAF ZAHIR&BATIN"

let's talk 'bout colour blindness..

salam.

"colour blindness"
DEF: the failure to appreciate one or more colours. Colour blindness is common in 8% of males and only 0.4% in females, as mostly colour blindness in an inherited sex linked recessive character. In addition to hereditary conditions, colour blindness also occurs due to acquired conditions such as ocular disease or injury or disease of retina. The term 'colour blind' does not mean that objects are only seen in black and white. Total colour blindness is very rare. There are many types and degrees of color blindness. The most appropriate term for colour blindness is deficiency of colour vision. Dichromatism is a type of colour blindness whereby, the subject can appreciate only two colours. It can be further specified to PROTANOPIA. In this case, the defect is the receptor of the primary colour, i.e. red. So, the red colour cannot be appreciated. The persons having protanopia are called protanopes. The use blue and green to match the colours. Thus, they CONFUSE RED WITH GREEN.

hehe.

one fine sunny day,the 4 of us (me,mas, mar&shikin) decided to wear our baju kurung to class.. so everyone was looking "ayu&sopan" haha!not!

me&mar in
blue.
shikin in pink.
mas in
HOT RED.

as were walking out from the guest house to the gate, I saw se-ekor
lembu hitam&anak tunggalnya sedang berjalan-jalan berhampiran pagar.from far,I can tell that the cow (mother, i think) was looking our way.huhu..so we started to b0rak:

"eyh, korang rase lembu kat sneh bute warne tak?",i said.
"mane ade laa..lembu kat spain jer yang suke kaler merah--spanish cows.. lembu india tak"
mas said,with confidence.

as we reached the gate, all the 4 of us was suprised sebab
lembu tadi sudah berhenti berjalan dan sedang menunggu kami di pagar.(whaa?) we were freakin' scared, bcoz it started to make its way towards us!--specifically masliana (=P).hehe. me&mar made a quick escape and jumped inside the otto (we probably got away easily as we were in blue). shikin pon terlepas jugak as she hid behind the gate. the cow seriously was barging towards mas..and its big! no kiddin'..the cows here are one and a half size of Malaysian cows..(wh000sh!)

kami semua dah tersangat cuak dan masliana p0n dah terjerit2.luckily,
the otto driver was kind enuff and helped to shoo the cow away..masliana was saved! or else, she must have been some big-black-herbivore lunch! hehe. sebbaik la ade orang nak tolong..haih! so from that day, masliana tak0t dan cuak whenever ade lembu.she swore n0t to wear that HOT RED tudung again.heh.. I guess, that c0w is s00oo suffering from colour blindness neh! die mesti nampak mas as a MOVING GREEN BUSH! wheee~! (wahh! sedapnyer rumput!)

so the moral of the story is:

1.cows to0oo suffer from colour blindness.

2.Indian cows pon buleh pegi spain for bull fight! hehe.

3.NEVER-EVER WEAR
HOT RED in the presence of a cow.
4.NEVER-EVER WEAR
HOT RED in the presence of a cow.
5.NEVER-EVER WEAR
HOT RED in the presence of a cow.
p/s:pink is acceptable since shikin got away?

the journey

salam.

21st August 2007.

finally, all of us safely reached india.hehe..the journey was kinda treacherous (?)
starting form the plane ride itself.. sigh.T-U-R-B-U-L-E-N-C-E at the Bay of Bengal, o'coz.and at that very time,we were served dinner--chicken curry. g0odness.=|

estimation of total travelling hours from home to davangere: bdr. sri damansara to KLIA : +/- 1 hour (at a NORMAL speed car ride)
kl-bangalore flight : +/- 4 hours (900kms/hr plane speed)
bangalore-davangere : +/- 7 hours (70kms/hr) on coaster ride?
for a 265kms distance? =0

"an aye opener" like abah said.hehe..the 70kms/hr coaster ride was a journey like no other.sOoo many new things to see.things that i thot i might only see it on Tv..whooOsh!

1.cows
2.buffalos
3.goats
4.sheeps

5.windmills! really pretty =)

"windmills...scattered on the green hills of chittradurga"

6.sunflower farm! yellow-ness~
7.people carrying water bucket on their heads
8.bus filled with people in & OUT (any ideas?)

oh yeah...pig..pigs..pigss..pigsss.

on the coaster, obviously everyone SLEEPS like yell...though outside, the "sound of horns"-- =) are hooting endlessly.
believe it or not,"PLEASE SOUND HORN" signs are painted on almost every vehicle here.this is REALLY something new..in Malaysia, horn means..."what daa?!", "oi,tepi sikit", "de neh tak pandai bawak kete ker"..hehe.but here,it means,"tumpang lalu..","tepi sikit,I nak lalu neh","car comin'!" so basically, the high-pitched horn is heard on almost every second.i find it amusing =P (luckily, the airplanes have no horns! =P)

we reached bapuji guest house,finally.*phew*. ehem, the c0aster..this is it.. 70kms/hr coaster! yeah!

REGISTRATION at the Bapuji Dental College&Hospital. OUR c0llege!~ yippee.

JOGFALLS the second highest waterfall in the world..I swear I just knew it.hehe! we went here about a week after arriving in india.this waterfall is one of the attractions of Karnataka state.they said that this place is nearby..yeah! its five hours journey man! dekat betol! we passed through a few places to get here..among them is Shimoga City, which looks like Davangere, probably a bit larger i think.but, jogfalls is beautiful anyway..

this is an
three-wheeler..or an "OTTO" (od-dho),they call it--my taxi to school!

well, living here is definitely something..and I am yet to discover more~
