that darn cat chooses me

It was 3 am and I was about to doze off after a day of Dental Materials. *sigh, finally*
At about 5 am, I was awaken by small cries of “miao..miao..”
Though almost in total darkness, I can make out that that “awaking call” came from a feline at the end of my bed. What da?
My hand searched for the light switch on the wall on top of my head.
“click”.. the brightest source of light in my room was switched on.

“uh-oh”. That was it. It must have stirred some kind of an alert signal to that darn cat. The cat went berserk. You can imagine how animals are when they panic. And worse when they are actually considered to be tame (such as cats) but unfortunately it has double pairs of clawed-paw and a set of canines. It started to bang on everything it can in my toilet, trying to lift itself back into that small air vent hole where it came from. But, to no avail, that cat has proven itself to be fat? Haha. Half of its body was already in the air vent and half is still dangling. It is an amusing sight indeed. (I still laugh out loud when I recall how it looks like). Maybe the tail and its butt is a bit too heavy.

As I opened my door locks and let it outta my room, then reality falls. A funny smell came from the toilet and I instantly realized that is must have pissed sumwhere. But, luckily, it was in the toilet and it’s easy to clean. Phew!

As I returned into my room:

“Mar, luckily that cat just pissed and not ***”, I was really about to finish my sentence, when I saw it!!! Omg. On the bed (a second bed in my room). Loud and clear. The job was well done. And fgs, that darn cat had already pooped about 2 feet from where I laid my head and I did not realized!!! And I, as the victim of that darn cat, with the consent of my friends who are still wide awake at that time, have cut the mattress to clear off the mess, leaving a rectangular spot where you can see the yellow sponge inside. And I guess, if none of my friends have been with me that morning, I would have really gone crazy. Getting mad and superbly agitated at a "flea-infested-waking people up at 5am-and heavy tailed-well done” feline. Huh.

I spent about an hour cleaning up everything. Mopping the floor for 3 times with Lizol which I hope will really kill 99.9% germs as written on the bottle.
At about 7 am I dozed off.

Mar said that she thought I was already awake when she heard all those loud sounds of stuff falling and all, but instead, I was only awaken by that “miao” sound? Now, I know why I’m a successful late riser and do not respond to any kind of alarms and may I add; to 7 miscalls as well. It should have a cat sound to it.

Oh my.

Lesson to be learned, for me: do close that small air vent hole, close the toilet door before sleeping, and change my alarm signal to a “miao” sound. Hurm. I declare “cold war” with Kaveri’s cats today. Including “shashikala”, whatever that cat’s name is. Oh yeah, don't forget to throw away that soap, jaja...it has cat scratches.

words

i’m too tired trying to be nice that i turned out to be cold?
i do whatever i like regardless those piercing stares from everyone around.
i feel like isolating myself & i mind being around strangers.
i don’t want people to know about me as i too REALLY don’t wanna know about them?
“i do what i like. i’m living my life the way i want it, so just shut up!”

i feel scared thinking that i'm becoming heartless.
it kills me to think “since when i’ve become blind, mute and deaf?”
i'm too worried about my loved ones, that tho i reach out for them, there's nothing I could do?
i'm worried about being far away and the fact that i'm just not there.
i can't help feeling angry to those who took advantage of kindness & carelessness.
i can't help feeling the hatred of those who bullies people i cared about.
is building resistance all about not caring?

i simply don’t care if people hear me mocking out loud.
i simple don’t care if they can make out my mockeries.
at times, i do feel like making them hearing it all .

i really not know what i’ve become.
i hope my soul is intact and my brain is where it is.
i feel scared at times, thinking that I might not be the same person when i came around.

i did found joy.
i found them in newly treasured companions.
i found them where my silly mind thought it was empty.
it is where I can place my raging heart at rest.
it was what keeping me alive.

38

salam.

yesterday at about 7.40p.m, i got my third molar surgically extracted.huh! me, who in the past suffered from dento-phobia and now doing my degree in dntsry (ahaha!) am suprised wif myself yesterday.

"apsal hari ni tak se-nervous biase?" my hands are not cold..ekeke.its weird tho.becoz,im not bout to go thru just an extraction, but its a freakin surgery! wif mas accompanying me, the two of us went to the clinic to say goodbye to my 38. =(

the dr. who did my surgery was dr.Dayanand, an oral& maxillofacial surgeon from bapuji.he's too good im tellin ya! i felt at ease tho i'm embedded in "the chair",and i can't help but to feel very relaxed.(trust me ppl, this is not like me!) hurm..i guess, its the trust that i have on the dr that explains it all.it really takes loads of your trust to let sumone rummage into your mouth while you are wide awake and are totally capable of seeing all those "sharp&shiny-things" stuck into your mouth from a close distance.=). dr.dayanand explained whatever he was about to do to me&what i might be feeling, and i think that helps a lot. it gets you mentally prepared i guess.

alhamdulillah, everything went well.my 38 was successfully extracted in one piece. oh gigiku! and now,im only left with 31 teeth in my mouth..haih! to those who are planning to cab0t gigi..relax! tak de pape insya-Allah. =)

my cat rebels

salam.

This is an entry about my cat which is currently on strike.(bozo!)

Why?

My unhygienic cat developed a new habit of sleeping in the dustpan. Believe me.
Previously, she used to lay her fat bum-bums in the paint container (or we called it as the “bekas cat”). The dried rollers on it become her bolster pillow? And now, it’s my mom’s dusty dustpan.
And the dust is her best friend? (omg). Perhaps she likes cases that fits her just nice?
She does bulge outwards while sitting in the dustpan tho. Ouch!

Knowing dodo’s limited ability to jump, (as it will consume all her fish-y lunch!)
my mom hanged the dustpan to somewhere dodo can’t possibly reach to lay her fat bum-bums
and gave that poor feline some old red box (which used to be a hamper’s base) for her new resting spot.

So she protested. And lay on the floor instead. She became skeptical about the “new home” and gave it a try. And still, she prefers the floor. (Dodo, the floor does not fit ya!)

Will my mom give up her dustpan for that weird cat?

I don’t know.

this happens yesterday at 1245am.

salam.

on thursday the 27th,me and my mom went back to KL from kuantan on a bus ride.the journey started at about 9pm from kuantan and we reached kl around 1245am.it wrote on the ticket that our stop is at the pekeliling station.i thought that it literally meant "THE pekeliling station",but actually it turned out to be a bus stop under the titiwangsa lrt station opposite the pekeliling station? what daaa? haha! omg.that place which is usually littered by lotsa people during the day is very much deserted at night.you can actually count the numbers and it is less than your digits! the funny thing is,it is exactly by the road side where the cars are passing by.but, i do feel it is unsafe thinking that will there be anyone kind enuff to stop and give a hand? sigh.

so we waited for my dad to pick us up--in fear? the first few minutes was okay and nothing actually happened.later, a guy in green shirt&jeans and carrying a backpack approached us from somewhere behind.he had this look that seriously gives you the creep~.he walked towards us and sat like a feet away from me. yeeellllppp! he was starring and I swear i didn't see him blinking.i heard him mumbling sumthing and i guess he was actually trying to make a conversation or asking something i don't know, but i totally ignored him.i was holding on to my luggage and handbag as tightly as possible and my heart was beating ever so fast! adrenaline rush as i figured it out. i watched him from the corner of my eye in case he is doing anything funny.got myself ready with everything,if anything happens to us i guess i still remembers that taekwondo that ive learned from somewhere in the past. haha! so not! at least i know how to punch..*wink*.not long after that,a glimpse of my dad's car was in view and we cautiously stood up and started walking towards the car.instantaneously, the queer guy also stood up, again mumbling sumthing which sounded like ".....mampus" and went back from where he came from.what was thattt?!! as if it was planned. the moment we are about to make our move,he too decided to "chao".so, he's not sitting there to wait for the bus or something? yikes! i guess my face must have turned pale becoz my dad have sensed that sumthing is not right the moment we stepped in the car.syukur abah was there and nothing bad actually happened. phew! abah managed to reach pekeliling and pick us up in less than 15 minutes? i wonder at what speed he was driving at? uhuh.

the city can seriously turned out to be a very different place at night.totttaaally different.at night, it seems like a different set of people roamed the streets.I wonder where they came from. and i guess safety is at stake especially if you're a girl and unable to run due to carrying heavy luggages! at times like these you really have to doa banyak2 and ask for His protection against any bad things or any bad intentions that a person might have on you.we were lucky at that time as there is someone who is actually coming to the rescue to pick us up.what if you have to make your own way back? isn't it risky? always be aware that unexpected things happen and we might be one of those victims who are at the wrong place and at the wrong time.

so girls,do take care of yourself well.at such times,it makes me understand the importance of hijab.it should be understood that it serves not only to cover the pretty hair we have, but also from the looks of the ajnabis.and it serves as a protection as well as the respect it honours upon its wearers.many things that this little thing can do eyh? hehe.

for any of you who have sisters, mothers or any female friends,DO NOT let them wander alone at night especially to "silent places" such as these.its really freaky im telling ya! have the courtesy to call and ask them where they are at these hours and prevent any of these things from happening. prevention is better than cure!
